Aluminum foil heat seal cap (also known as aluminum foil sealing film) uses high-quality aluminum foil materials, generally choose aluminum foil materials with high purity, smooth surface, no oil and oxide layer. Aluminum foil caps are widely used in food, medicine, dairy products, cosmetics and chemical industries. Its main function is to provide a seal for the container to prevent leakage and contamination of the contents, while also extending the shelf life.
Raw materials for aluminum foil heat seal cap:
8011 aluminum foil is one of the commonly used aluminum bottle cap materials, with a state of H14/H16, a thickness range of 0.15-0.27mm, and a width range of up to 330-1000mm. This kind of aluminum foil has the advantages of light weight, corrosion resistance, good sealing, easy opening and low cost, and is very suitable for making heat seal caps.
Sealing materials are usually made of PE (polyethylene) or PP (polypropylene) film, designed to form a tight seal and ensure the integrity of the product.
Aluminum foil heat seal cap production process:
1. Aluminum foil substrate preparation
(1) Select aluminum foil: thickness 20 to 50 microns, depending on application requirements.
(2) Surface treatment: chemical or corona treatment to enhance adhesion.
2. Coating treatment
(1) Primer: Apply a primer (polyester or other organic coating) on one side of the aluminum foil to enhance adhesion.
(2) Printing layer (optional): Brand logo and product information can be printed.
(3) Protective coating (optional): Protect the printed layer to prevent damage.
3. Heat seal coating
Apply heat seal material: Coat the other side of the aluminum foil, usually using plastic polymers such as PE, PP, PET or EVA.
4. Drying and curing
After heating, drying and curing, ensure that the coating is uniform, stable and has good adhesion.
5. Die cutting
(1) Punching: According to the shape of the container, the aluminum foil is punched out by die.
(2) Inspection: Confirm that the size is accurate and there are no defects on the edges.
6. Packaging and quality inspection
(1) Quality inspection: pass multiple tests such as sealing and tear resistance.
(2) Packaging: pack according to quantity after passing the inspection to prevent transportation damage.
7. Application
Use heat sealing equipment to combine the aluminum foil cap with the container to complete the seal.
Quality requirements for heat-sealed aluminum foil cap:
1. The inner and outer surfaces of the aluminum foil cap should be flat, without obvious wrinkles, bubbles, scratches and other defects to ensure its appearance quality and heat sealing effect.
2. The size of the aluminum foil cap should be precise, including diameter, height, etc., to ensure a close fit with the packaging container (such as bottles, cans, etc.) to avoid leakage or looseness.
3. The edge of the aluminum foil cap should be smooth and without sharp parts.
