Tropical blister aluminum is a combination of hot-formed plastic blister and cold-formed composite aluminum, which is composed of nylon (or other plastic materials)/aluminum/adhesive. This material is a sheet made by compounding these materials through equipment at a certain temperature and pressure, and is specially developed to enhance the barrier properties of traditional aluminum-plastic packaging.
Tropical blister aluminum packaging is not a substitute for cold-formed aluminum, but a different packaging solution for different medicines to meet moisture-proof requirements and display effects. The main difference between tropical aluminum and cold-formed aluminum in function is that its moisture-proof effect mainly depends on the heat-sealing effect of the edge and the PVC blister. During the heat-sealing process, the stability of the heat-sealing temperature, the flatness of the heat-sealing mold surface, and the uniformity of the pressure all affect the heat-sealing effect. In this case, the coating layer of tropical aluminum itself is even more important.
Tropical blister aluminum composition:
Tropical aluminum blister packaging is composed of tropical blister aluminum, aluminum-plastic plate (a combination of PVC blister rigid film and PTP aluminum foil). The higher cation barrier performance is mainly attributed to the application of dry tropical blister aluminum. Tropical blister aluminum is commonly known as "aluminum-plastic aluminum". Its basic structure is composed of nylon (NY)/composite glue/aluminum foil (Al)/heat-sealing glue (heat-sealing glue is used to heat-seal with PVC blister hard sheet). It needs to be pressed by cold stamping process, while other aluminum-plastic composite materials are not suitable for this process. Tropical blister aluminum is equivalent to a "protective cover" of aluminum-plastic blister packaging, which can play a good barrier role against water vapor, oxygen and light, thereby effectively extending the shelf life of the contents.
The production process of tropical aluminum blister packaging is generally as follows:
PVC blister rigid film→ heating → blister forming → filling the contents - heat-seal the PTP aluminum foil (on the top) and tropical blister aluminum (on the bottom) with the PVC blister rigid film → emboss product information → press the breaking line → punch out → collect waste.
1. Moisture-proof and moisture-proof: Tropical blister aluminum has excellent moisture-proof performance and can effectively protect products from moisture.
2. Barrier gas: It can effectively isolate oxygen and other gases to protect product quality.
3. Anti-corrosion: It has anti-corrosion properties and can protect products from corrosion.
4. High temperature resistance: It can withstand high temperatures and is suitable for heat-treated products.
5. Non-toxic and harmless: It is harmless to the human body and is suitable for food and drug packaging.
6. Beautiful appearance: The appearance is novel and high-end, which enhances the competitiveness of drugs.
7. High mechanical strength, good formability, high heat sealing strength, suitable for high-speed packaging machines.
8. Suitable for heat sealing with PVC.
