How does aluminum foil turn golden?
1. Surface pretreatment: Clean the surface of the profile by chemical or physical methods to expose the pure matrix, so as to obtain a complete and compact artificial oxide film. Mirror or matte (matte) surfaces can also be obtained by mechanical means.
2. Anodizing: For the profile with surface pretreatment, under certain technological conditions, anodic oxidation will occur on the surface of the matrix to form a dense, porous and strongly adsorbed Al2O3 film.
3. Hole sealing: the pores of the porous oxide film formed after anodic oxidation are sealed to enhance the anti-pollution, anti-corrosion and wear resistance of the oxide film.
The oxide film formed on the surface of aluminum foil is colorless and transparent. Using the strong adsorption of oxide film before hole sealing, some metal salts are adsorbed and deposited in the hole of the film, which makes the contour appearance show many colors besides natural color (silvery white), such as black, bronze, gold and stainless steel.
