MC Aluminum specializes in the production of cold forming aluminum foil, which is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry. Alu-Alu foil is available in 45 micron and 50 micron thicknesses, effectively preventing moisture, microorganisms, light, oxygen, and other gases. This makes it the primary packaging material for tablets, capsules, and injectables.
Cold forming blister foil is specifically designed for highly sensitive pharmaceuticals and generic medicines that are extremely hygroscopic or photosensitive, and cannot be properly packaged with barrier plastic films. Its structure is an optimized combination of aluminum foil and polymer films, where the aluminum layer is enclosed between a heat-sealable polymer film inside and a formable film outside.

Aluminum-Aluminum Base Foil Printing
Alu-Alu foil printing uses high-precision gravure printing or screen printing technologies to ensure clear visibility of pharmaceutical information, instructions, and brand identity. At the same time, the inherent barrier properties of aluminum foil guarantee that medicines remain stable throughout their shelf life.
Specialized equipment and inks are required to ensure that the printed patterns remain intact and legible during subsequent forming and heat-sealing processes.
